Last Monday, my dear friend Catherine & I went on a day trip to Castlemaine to visit a friend who was generous enough to let us peek at their vintage collection. I have no photos of her collection at the moment, but may be doing another trip soon for the purpose of a future blog post.
This post is about another friend of mine who also lives in Castlemaine, by the name of Jane, who is part owner of vintage etc which is also in Castlemaine. Jane has an interior design background and has owned vintage stores in England, but now lives in Australia, which proves she has good taste!

When I first stepped into Jane's new place, I felt like I was still in her shop! I loved Jane's confidence in using furniture that was not quite finished or had parts missing.
I seriously need to think about moving to Castlemaine! Not sure if I'd like the commute to my store at South Melbourne Market though!
